Launch of the EKKO-2 charcoal kiln in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation

The middle of March was marked by the launch of the EKKO-2 model of carbonization furnace by GreenPower company in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. In the photo below we see that the kiln is located in the outside on the production site. In this case, a canopy is needed to protect the equipment from natural conditions, as we see at the customer’s site.

As a raw material for the carbon burning process, a birch was used, the moisture content of which was previously reduced. The maximum possible low moisture content in wood can significantly reduce the duration of the operating cycle and accelerate the carbonization process.
