Launch of the 2nd unit of EKKO-2 charcoal kiln in the city of Tver, Russian Federation

In early March 2020, a new EKKO-2 charcoal kiln was launched in the Tver Region, Russian Federation. As you can see in the photo below, two carbonization furnace of EKKO-2 model with a pre-drying system are located at this production site. The customer purchased the first kiln from our company in 2019.

 The wood species used in the carbonization process are alder, aspen and birch. The moisture content of the raw materials is reduced to optimal values of 20-25% with the help of special drying equipment. This enables a significant reduction in the kiln operation cycles and increases the volume of output products. Below, you can see photos of raw materials and finished charcoal from this system.
