Le mot \u00e9tait un compos\u00e9 de \u00ab bio \u00bb (biomasse) et \u00ab semi-coke \u00bb (char). Le biochar d\u00e9crit dans ce travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenu \u00e0 partir de graines de grains de sorgho en utilisant le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00ab ChemChar \u00e0 triple combustion inverse \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Le bio-char a une teneur \u00e9lev\u00e9e en carbone et a une texture \u00e0 grains fins. Actuellement, il est produit \u00e0 l&#8217;aide de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de pyrolyse. La pyrolyse est un traitement thermique de la biomasse en l&#8217;absence d&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne, emp\u00eachant ainsi sa combustion. \u00c0 la suite du processus, un m\u00e9lange des substances suivantes est obtenu : le biochar lui-m\u00eame, la bio-huile et le gaz de synth\u00e8se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Le taux de rendement sp\u00e9cifique de ces produits de pyrolyse d\u00e9pend directement des conditions du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame : conditions de temp\u00e9rature, temps de s\u00e9jour et vitesse de chauffage. Ces param\u00e8tres peuvent \u00eatre optimis\u00e9s pour obtenir un produit sp\u00e9cifique. Une temp\u00e9rature de 400 \u00e0 500 \u00b0C (673-773 K) est utilis\u00e9e pour la production de semi-coke. Les temp\u00e9ratures sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 700 \u00b0C (973 K) favorisent la lib\u00e9ration des composants liquides et gazeux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Le processus de pyrolyse \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es est tr\u00e8s rapide. En cons\u00e9quence, en r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, nous obtenons 60% de bio-huile, 20% de bio-charbon et 20% de gaz de synth\u00e8se. La pyrolyse lente, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire l&#8217;utilisation de temp\u00e9ratures plus basses, conduit \u00e0 un pourcentage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de semi-coke (~ 35%).
